本課件幫助學生構想從一疊圖案咭中隨機抽出一張，求某事件的概率，從而逐步認識互補事件、互斥事件／非互斥事件的加法定律、獨立事件／相關事件的意義、以及獨立事件／相關事件的乘法定律。配合工作紙，學生可藉本例子認識全課的主要概念。
